MANA’s Writing Contest Includes Submission of Poetry (no more than 250 words), Short Stories (no more than 500 words), and Essays (no more than 500 words).

Theme: Dealing with Black Culture.

MANA encourages writers of all ethnicities to submit.

Awards: $200 for the best prose work and $150 for the best poem.
