MANA’s Commemorative Writers’ Contest

This is time to reflect. MANA wants to encourage that reflection by sponsoring MANA’S COMMEMORATIVE WRITERS’ CONTEST.

Prizes will be submitted essays (no more than 500 words), short stories (no more than 500 words), and poems (no more than 300 words).

First Prize for an essay, short story, or poem: $250 and publishing of work on the MANA website and in an issue of THE MANA HARVESTER.

Second Prize for an essay, short story, or poem: $200 and publishing of work on the MANA website and in an issue of THE MANA HARVESTER.

Third Prize for an essay, short story, or poem: $50 and publishing of work one the MANA website and in an issue of THE MANA HARVESTER.

Themes for this contest:

1) What does the word “American” mean to you?

2) What makes being an American complex?

No. more than three (3) submissions per person.

All Entries must be by persons 18 years or older.
