Why is RDP and MANA (Dr. Fairy Hayes-Scott) Doing this?
First. let me share that I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I have been since March 29, 1969, 5:25 AM.Second, in 1991 I began my first publishing company, Robbie Dean Press (RDP). It was a traditional textbook company. The first book published was mine, Essential Writing Skills for Deaf Students. Then, the next book was written by a professional colleague; its title was Deaf/Blindness: Essential Information for Families, Professionals, & Students. And the company grew from there. Then, in November of 2002, MarketingNewAuthors.com (MANA) began. Its purpose was to fulfill the needs of those wanting self-publishing and marketing services.During all of those years, I had wished there had been some support. Back then, I was on my own. And the thought of there being a company that would market my work and give me that extra moral support by an owner who was Black and Greek, too, although my books never specifically focused on any particular ethnic group, would have been welcomed.Yes, Amazon, a self-publishing company, was starting in the 90s and has been going strong now in the 21st century. And there had been traditional textbook publishing companies way before Robbie Dean Press. Yet, I do not believe that many persons do not recognize there are alternatives for traditional and non-traditional publishing; they just need to seek them out and share the news with others. And Robbie Dean Press and MANA are examples of those alternatives. Robbie Dean Press and MANA have weathered the storm of recessions, Enron’s collapse, and other economic calamities. MANA is supportive of all of its authors, but as its owner, I have a special place in my heart for minority authors, especially those who belong to the Black Greek sisterhood and brotherhood. And so, this is the reason for my reaching out now. After over thirty years in the publishing business, I am confident to extend my hand to my Black Greek sisters and brothers to offer the quality services that many have already received from the Staff of MarketingNewAuthors.com and Robbie Dean Press. So, if you need a textbook publisher, Robbie Dean Press can fulfill your need. Furthermore, if you need a self-publisher for a manuscript of various genre, MANA has much to offer.

REVELATION, RESIGNATION, RESTORATION
About the Book
by Cherisa Allen (Member of Delta Sigma Theta—Ann Arbor Alumnae Chapter)
This book is a powerful, profound work. It is a personal dialog about the author’s personal experiences of abuse, physical and emotional. Ms. Cherisa Allen has had round table dramatic presentations of excerpts from her work. Indeed, Cherisa exposes abuse, shows how a woman may resign to it, but she shows how women can overcome, can be restored.
